I passed her two afternoons,
She glanced an empty gaze,
I swooned over my plans in bloom,
Among flowers, she stood frozen stiff.
I wonder if she was happy,
Filled with freshness everyday,
I dream of romance and singing,
Forgotten she was there.
I filled my day with laughter,
Crossing shoulders with kind strangers,
But I ran away with golden ticket,
Knowing time never stood still.
I walked back towards the same way,
Passed the florist and her life,
She hold a new pose on a pole,
As she lay her head in stale.
I see now the Sad Florist,
How life shows its disguise,
A beautiful painting of a perfect scenery,
Was never who she was.
flick.
i picked out a Red rose,
present to her with the sincerest smile,
she passed an empty gaze,
i saw twinkles in her eyes.
i nod and walk away again,
remembering her through out my life.
